This site introduces the Oze National Park and the nature of Uonuma City in Niigata Pref. The Oze is famous for the largest marshland in Japan, wild flowers and birds, vast scenery of mizubasho(Japanese skunk cabbage) and yellow alpine lily in season and spectacular moutain scenery.

Uonuma City
Uonuma City in Niigata Pref. is famous for the beautiful four seasons of Nature and producing 'Koshihikari' a premium rice much appreciated by Japanes consumers. It is also known as entrance of Oze National Park and able to visit there by riding the ferry boat accross the lake Okutadami. You can appreciate the outstanding scenery on the way to Oze National Park.
